The Canadian Water Network published articles on the Global Water Experiment on 31 March, one week after its launch.
It describes it as " the world’s largest chemistry experiment in history", and reminds us the vital importance of clean water on earth.
The four types of experiments are defined: schools around the World can test the Acidity and the Salinity of the water around us. They can also conduct experiments on Filtration and Solar Stills.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) announced it will help support teachers and students who wish to participate in the experiment, by sending volunteers to classrooms that need assistance.
Their President, Nancy B. Jackson, declares "Students learn chemistry best when it directly applies to their lives. Water resource quality opens complex and diverse issues. The global experiment is an important science education initiative.”
